Panchayat and Rural Development Department publish notification for filling up vacancies
Registration is on going for West Bengal Panchayat and Rural Development Department filling up vacancies by way of direct recruitment in different post under under three tier Panchayat Raj Institution in the establishments of Gram Panchayats, Panchayat Samitis, Zilla parishad of the state of west Bengal.
Proposed post received from district is 6652 such post lying vacant in three -tier Panchayat bodies of the state which has been concurred by the Finance Department and approved by the state cabinet.
The Governor is pleased to direct that the district level selection committee of each district as well as the district level selection committee for the hill areas in the District of Darjeeling and kalimgpong falling under jurisdictation of the GTA shall take appropriate action towards filling up of those vacancies way of direct recruitment in strict adherence to the extant recruitment rules and after observing all the formalities mentioned in different orders of this department issued from time to time in connection with recruitment under PR bodies .The relevant reservation Roster issued by the BCW department Govt of West Bengal followed.
