Essential Qualification for Assistant Loco Pilot for Indian Railway Recruitment 2024
The candidate should have a Matriculation / SSLC plus ITI from recognized institution of NCVT/SCVT in the trades of Fitter, Electrician, Instrument Mechanic Millwright/Maintenance Mechanic (Radio and TV), Mechanic, Electronics Mechanic (Motor Vehicle),wiremen, Tractor Mechanic, Arnature and Coil Winder, Mechanic (Diesel), Heat Engine, Turner, Machanist, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic.(OR)
The candidates should have a Matriculation SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the trades mention above. (OR)
The candidates should have a Matriculation SSLC plus a 3-year Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Automobile Engineering.
The candidates should have a combination of various streams of these engineering disciplines from a recognized institution in liu of ITI.

Age of the candidates should not be less than 18 years and should not be more than 30 years old as on 01-07-2024
